Bridget believes that business can, and must, be a force for good in order for our planet and all its inhabitants to have a bright future. The climate is changing, and it presents the greatest opportunity of our time to regain perspective in what truly matters and give a voice to all that don’t have one: animal, mineral, and vegetable. She believes in beauty, creativity, and creative solutions.
Bridget knows a thing or two about transition. She’s moved countless times, lived and studied abroad, been fortunate enough to travel the world, and already in just shy of ten years has had two distinct careers. She holds a BA in Art History and an MA in Art Business, but after spending more than five years at one of the world’s top commercial fine art galleries she knew she needed to make a change. It was then that Bridget devoted her professional energies as a force for good at Virgin Unite, the nonprofit foundation of Sir Richard Branson and the Virgin Group. Richard’s entrepreneurial spirit and “Screw it, let’s do it” attitude resonated with Bridget and she grew her passion for social entrepreneurship and the opportunity (and need!) for purpose to be imbedded at the core of all we do, in life and in business.
Bridget now works in corporate philanthropy for a large global luxury brand as part of their grantmaking team focused on environmental conservation. Her MO is to instill order wherever she goes using logic, reason, efficiency, compassion, and a keen eye for detail as her superpowers.
She loves to cook and bake and get her hands dirty learning to grow her own food (food that you or your local farmer grew tastes better, is better for you, and better for the planet!). She loves to hike and swim, be one with nature, and find wonder in the little (and big) things that surround us every day.
Above all else, Bridget believes that together we can make a difference.
